Dr Katarzyna Wasielewska, assistant professor of the Institute of Applied Computer Science of the State Higher Vocational School in Elbląg, has been awarded the prestigious Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Individual Fellowships (MSCA) program. During her research internship at the University of Granada in Spain, she will implement a project entitled “Multivariate Analysis of Big Data in Software Defined Networks”.
– Granting the scholarship is a great opportunity for me. I will have the opportunity to work in a research team specializing in multidimensional Big Data analysis. My goal is research on increasing the effectiveness of network traffic identification and anomaly detection. I was developing the project for six months under the supervision of Prof. José Camacho Páez and I am very happy that he received such a high mark – says the winner.
MSCA grants are financed by the European Commission under the Horizon 2020 program and support scientists in the implementation of research projects in cooperation with leading research units.
