Researcher of the State Higher Vocational School in Racibórz wins the Science Popularizer competition

Dr Joanna Stojer-Polańska, State Higher Vocational School in Racibórz has won the Popularizer of Science competition organized by the Science in Poland website and the Ministry of Education and Science. She was awarded in the Scientist category.

Joanna Stojer-Polańska holds a PhD in law with a specialization in forensics. Its popularizing activities concern forensic examinations and the work of animals with forensic traces. At the Racibórz university she is employed as an assistant professor and conducts classes with students of State Security. She is also the tutor of the student research club “Military”.

The laureate is the author of books, articles and workshops for children, teenagers and adults. She closely cooperates with forensic medics, experts in the search for human bodies, officers of uniformed services, psychologists, experts in the field of forensics.
