Prof. Eng. Adriana Zaleska-Medynska of the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Gdańsk won the Polish Smart Development Award 2020 in the category of “scientist of the future” for the implementation of three scientific projects.
The competition jury awarded a researcher of the Department of Environmental Technology of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Gdańsk University for the implementation of the projects: “Quantum dot induction mechanism in photocatalytic reactions”, “Air deodorization and disinfection in wastewater management facilities” and “Spatially oriented TiO2 / MxOy structures obtained by electrochemical method”.
The Polish Smart Development Award is granted by the Smart Development Center, which distinguishes innovators and investors, people and organizations whose manner of action influences the development of society and economy. It is a prestigious award in the business and scientific community.
