More than 500 entries concerning Kashubia, including symbols, myths, memory, beliefs or stereotypes, can be found in Kashubopedia, an Internet encyclopaedia, contributed by scientists from the University of Gdańsk.

The online encyclopaedia is the result of a grant from the National Programme for the Development of the Humanities. The aim of the project was to create a compendium of knowledge about Kashubian symbols, myths, memory, the imaginary world, beliefs and stereotypes. It was assumed that it would also take into account the specific ethnic, cultural and social processes in the (changing) territory inhabited by the Kashubian community.

The online encyclopaedia contains more than 500 entries. These include such entries as Kashubian hymns, Death March, Bylacy and Kashubian dialects. As the authors are convinced, the Kashubopedia is an open project. One can use it, but also submit possible corrections, add entries or propose new ones.
