The Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics at the University of Wrocław has opened a Specialised Forensic Laboratory, created using VR technology. The Virtual Crime Room is a didactic space where law and criminology students will learn how to do a crime scene inspection, as well as how to collect, analyse and secure traces of crime.

The Specialised VR Forensic Laboratory is a set of technological and methodological solutions implemented into the educational process. Its main element are simulators using virtual reality technology, which support and make educational processes more attractive.

Simulators are an excellent tool for practical tasks when access to the real environment is impossible, costly or dangerous. They are used in the teaching of medicine, forensics, architecture, technology and many other fields at the world’s top universities.
