Researchers of the University of Life Sciences in Poznan receive A. P. Dekaban scholarships

Two researchers from the University of Life Sciences in Poznań received the scholarship of the A. P. Dekaban Foundation. Researchers will take internships at the Canadian University of British Columbia in Vancouver.

The grants were given to Dr. Joanna Helena Śliwowska (Faculty of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences, Institute of Zoology) – Senior Dekaban Travel Award and Dr. Maciej Jarzębski (Faculty of Food Sciences and Nutrition, Department of Physics and Biophysics) – 5-month Post-doctorate research grant.

Foundation of A. P. Dekaban was founded in the early 1980s by the eminent Dr Anatol Dekaban and his wife Pamela Liddle-Dekaban. The aim of the Foundation is to offer new academic and technological achievements from the world to Polish academic scholars. Granted scholarships are intended for academic teachers who are 40 years old and have a PhD degree.
