Rzeszów Computer Science Students in the finals of the Digital Dragons competition

Students of computer science of the University of Rzeszów reached the final of the competition organized as part of the largest conference of the video game industry in Central Europe Digital Dragons – informs Dr. Maciej Ulita, spokesman of University.

The project team includes Krystian Pinderski, Mateusz Molik, Sławomir Niedbała, Jakub Gurgacz, Adam Lalik, Szymon Kusiak, Paweł Warcaba, who designed the game “Tree of Life: Tower Defense”. This is a 3D game from the 3rd person perspective view in the style of Tower Defense. The player selects the character of Dwarf who defends the last healthy place in the world. The gameplay involves defending a tree (Nexus) and the player builds fortifications around. The opponents in the game have to break into the tree and damage it.

The world of the game it is a destroyed, rusty area with the last tree to be defended.
