On October 12-13, 2020, the Rzeszów University of Technology will hold the 5th Scientific Conference “Energy security – pillars and development prospects”. It is organized by the Department of Economics of the Faculty of Management of the Rzeszów University of Technology and the Łukasiewicz Institute of Energy Policy.

The aim of the conference is to contribute to the scientific and expert discussion on energy policy, energy security and the energy sector.

The conference is planned in the traditional formula with hybrid elements. The event will include plenary panels on contemporary challenges related to energy security in the face of global transformation trends in this sector. The speakers will take up a discussion on the diversification of both sources and directions of supplies and the consequent necessity to expand the infrastructure.

In parallel to the plenary panels, the conference will include discussions on the existing threats to the energy sector and energy, raw materials and fuel supply systems.
