The National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) is inviting students, doctoral students, researchers and academics from Germany to apply for scholarships in Poland as part of the bilateral cooperation programme Zawacka NAWA. 

NAWA offers funding for visits to Polish institutions of higher education and science for the following purposes: a semester stay for students, a research stay of 1 to 9 months for doctoral students, researchers and academic teachers.

The aim of the Programme is to increase the internationalisation of Polish higher education through the visits of students, doctoral students, academic teachers and researchers to Polish institutions of higher education and science on the basis of international agreements concluded between Poland and the partner countries indicated in the announcement. 

The stays will enable the establishment or deepening of already existing cooperation between academic centres in Poland and abroad, as well as the improvement of the competences of the participating representatives of the academic community.
