Scientists of the Gdańsk University of Technology and the Medical University of Gdańsk have developed a device that can contribute to increasing the effectiveness of doctors in the fight against Covid-19, as well as in diagnosing patients with respiratory and circulatory problems. CyberRadar is a non-contact device that allows medical professionals to monitor patients’ breathing.

CyberRadar is a small device, it can be placed anywhere in the doctor’s office or next to the patient’s bedside. It is equipped with a microwave sensor and a sensitive camera to detect the position of the patient’s eyes and arms and then “position” the chest. Then, on the built-in screen, it displays data from his current respiratory and circulatory activities.

The device is passed the stage of clinical trials participated by several dozen patients, including both healthy and sick people with arterial hypertension and other chronic diseases.
