Students of technical faculties of the Witelon State Higher Vocational School  in Legnica will design an intelligent drone that could simultaneously monitor air quality and the condition of roads. This is the first research project within the framework of an agreement between the university, local government and business.

The agreement was signed by the university authorities, the head of the Legnica District, representatives of the Council of the Federation of Scientific and Technical Associations of the Chief Technical Organization of the Copper Basin, representatives of the Wrocław INTL Institute and TVVPOL. The cooperation was signed under the so-called Golden Triangle of Knowledge, i.e. joint activities of science, business and local government institutions for the benefit of the region.

The first document on cooperation concerns mainly designing drones, which will be performed in cooperation with specialized companies. The authorities of the Legnica District will use them for activities related to monitoring, ecology and crisis management.
