A Scientific and Implementation Center for Defense Technology and Security Systems will be established at the Kielce University of Technology.
The letter of intent in this matter was signed by the rector of the Kielce University, Prof. Zbigniew Koruba and President of the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) Sebastian Chwałek. The Scientific and Implementation Center for Defense Technologies and Security Systems will consist of three main centers: Modern Defense Technologies, Security Systems and the Center of Competence for Armament Production Management.
“The war in Ukraine shows how important the domestic industry is. The stronger the arms industry, the stronger the army. There are no modern solutions without scientists”, said Sebastian Chwałek, President of PGZ.
The Center for Defense Technologies will create a bridge between science and industry. Modern laboratories of universities are to develop solutions that will power the Polish defense industry – said Prof. Zbigniew Koruba, rector of the Kielce University of Technology.
