Innovative solutions created by scientists from the Lublin University of Technology and presented during the 15th International Trade Fair for Inventions and Innovations INTARG 2022 Katowice were awarded with two gold, two silver and two bronze medals, additionally, one received a platinum award.

“Our innovative potential is growing. As a technical university, in addition to education and science, we must develop innovative solutions that will be implemented in production. The received awards and distinctions prove that our ideas are excellent and the industry should be interested in them”, emphasizes the Rector of the Polish Academy of Sciences, Prof. Zbigniew Pater.

The platinum award for the asphalt foaming method was received by the team of Dr Eng. Agnieszka Woszuk, Prof. Wojciech Franus and Dr Lidia Bandura.

The gold medal for the numerically controlled inclined rolling mill was awarded to Prof. Janusz Tomczak, Prof. Zbigniew Pater and Dr Eng. Tomasz Bulzak. This invention also won a gold medal from the International Federation of Inventors of Iran (IFIA).
