Scientists of the Lublin University of Technology receive medals at the International Inventions Festival in the USA

Innovative solutions created by scientists from the Lublin University of Technology have been recognized by the jury of the International Festival of Inventions in Santa Clara in the Silicon Valley in the USA. Their inventions received gold, two silver and two bronze medals.

The gold medal with distinction was received by the creators of the numerically controlled oblique rolling mill: Prof. Zbigniew Pater, Prof. Janusz Tomczak and Dr Tomasz Bulzak.

The silver medals were obtained by the creators of the device for assessing the comfort of a passenger lift: Prof. Rafał Longwic, Eng. Kamil Szydło, Piotr Choniawka and authors of Personal Swim Trainer: Prof. Mirosław Wendeker, Eng. Mateusz Paszko, Eng. Krystian Łygas.
Bronze medals for the CLBLDC brushless motor were received by Dr Eng. Przemysław Filipek; and by Prof. Zbigniew Pater for the technology of forging oblique rolling of rods from the heads of scrapped railway rails.

In addition, the numerical mill developed in the team of Prof. Patera was recognized by the Hong Kong Inventors Association that awarded it with a special statuette.
