Scientists of the Opole University of Technology awarded in an international competition

Five Polish research teams won the competition organized by the European network M-Era.Net 2. The aim of the competition is to finance ambitious international projects involving research and work on new technologies. The distinguished group includes a team from the Opole University of Technology.

The project includes the Opole University, West Bohemian University in Pilsen, the German Fraunhofer Institute and the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic. Scientists want to develop a new technology for surface treatment of elements through the 3D printing technology, increasing the resistance of structural elements to fatigue loads. The project will be implemented for three years with the amount of almost PLN 970 thousand euro.

M-Era.Net 2 is a European network of public funding organizations supporting research programs on new materials and technologies to support the European Green Deal.
