Four young scientists from the Poznań University of Life Sciences will receive scholarships from the Minister of Science and Higher Education for outstanding young scientists. This is the largest number of scholarship holders among agri-natural science universities.

Scholarships in the amount of PLN 5390 monthly were received by: Dr Bartłomiej Glina – agriculture and horticulture (department of agriculture and bioengineering); Dr Bartosz Andrzej Kierończyk – zootechnics and fishery (department of veterinary medicine and animal sciences); Dr Przemysław Łukasz Kowalczewski – food and nutrition technology (faculty of food and nutrition sciences) and Eng. Kamil Kozłowski PhD student – mechanical engineering (PhD student at the Faculty of Agriculture and Bioengineering).

The minister selected 200 scholarship holders from among 1793 applicants. The scholarship award was granted for authorship and co-authorship of a monograph or its chapter, a scientific article, research project management, obtaining a patent and successes in international competitions.
