Scientists of the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznan receive Awards of the Minister of Science

Two scientists from the University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań received awards from the Minister of Science for outstanding scientific achievements, individual and collective didactic achievements and organizational successes made in the 2018.

The award for lifetime achievement was received by Prof. Marek Hendrykowski, founder of the Poznań film school, Professor of the Institute of Film, Media and Audiovisual Arts, researcher of the history of art and film culture, media expert, theoretician of the film, author of publications in the field of film studies.

The 1st degree academic award was received by Dr Tomasz Grzyb from the Faculty of Chemistry, Adam Mickiewicz University. The laureate’s scientific interests include synthesis of nanomaterials and their functionalization, spectroscopic properties of lanthanide ions, conversion phenomenon and energy transfer processes in nanomaterials, laser spectroscopy.
