18.08.2020

Staff of the Faculty of Animal Breeding and Biology and the Faculty of Production and Energy Engineering of the University of Agriculture in Krakow (URK) are participating in an international team developing a game for digital teaching of agroecology.

The project is carried out by a consortium including: URK, Agrocampus Ouest (Rennes, France) – coordinator, Ecole Superieure d’Agriculture – ESA (Angers, France), Ecole Nationale Vétérinaire, Agroalimentaire et de l’alimentation de Nantes-Atlantique – Oniris (Nantes, France), University of Liège (Gembloux, Belgium), University of Bologna (Bologna, Italy) and Chaire Agriculture Ecologiquement Intensive (France).

Its aim is to help students of agriculture and farmers understand agroecological issues, through the use of a digital educational tool – a computer game. It will enable the simulation of implementing various agroecological practices on a virtual farm that carries out plant and dairy production.
