Scientists to create a diagnostic and wear forecasting module for machines operating in difficult conditions

14.12.2021

The National Center for Research and Development will allocate almost PLN 5 million for advanced research to be carried out by scientists from the Wrocław University of Science and Technology and the Krakow company AMC Tech. They will create jointly a universal module for diagnostics and forecasting the wear time of machines operating in difficult conditions. The grant was awarded under the “Fast Track” program.

Their project is called “A universal diagnostic and prognostic module for condition monitoring systems of complex mechanical structures operating in the presence of non-Gaussian disturbances and variable operating conditions”.

The result of the work will be the first universal diagnostic and prognostic system for machines operating in variable operating conditions with variable loads, rotational speeds, process specificity or environmental influences, and also with impulse disturbances for machine systems used in mining, energy and many other industries.
