Second National Materials Engineering Day to be held nationwide in March

15 renowned universities and five research institutes from across Poland have launched the Polish Materials Engineering Day. All over Poland, participants will break attendance records during the biggest lesson in materials engineering.  

At the Silesian University of Technology, the Polish Materials Engineering Day is being prepared at the Faculty of Materials Engineering in Katowice and the Mechanical Engineering Technology Faculty in Gliwice. A record-breaking lesson in materials engineering, at the Silesian University of Technology will be held on 22 March at 10:00 a.m..

The aim of materials engineering is to search for material and technological solutions that will allow the best use of material properties in many industries, including aerospace, automotive, electronics, energy, household goods or medicine. The National Materials Engineering Day is an excellent opportunity to highlight the importance of this field of science and promote its achievements.
