SGGW to launch a project Sustainable Campus – Education for Key Industries

The Warsaw University of Life Sciences (SGGW) has signed a contract with AgroWe for the project ‘Sustainable SGGW Campus – Education for Key Industries’. The value of the project was estimated at PLN 21,255,938.23.

During a meeting with AgroWe representatives, Prof. Tomasz Okruszko and Prof. Jarosław Gołębiewski presented opportunities and goals resulting from the established cooperation. One of these is the adaptation of SGGW’s teaching offer to the needs of the agricultural, food and renewable energy industries. They highlighted the key role of green biotechnology and emphasised the importance of environmental and life sciences in the context of contemporary challenges such as AI or digital transformation.

The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus under the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 programme, Priority 1 Skills, Measure 01.05 Skills in Higher Education.
