Applications for the Siemens and Warsaw University of Technology Prize Competition are available until 31 January 2023. The slogan of this year’s competition is: “Data for the environment”.

The Competition is open to projects that aim to improve the environmental indicators of Polish industry.

“The projects we are hoping for should exploit the potential of the huge amount of data available to modern factories and industry as such. Their in-depth analysis should identify new solutions that will help increase production efficiency and at the same time reduce the burden on the environment”, says Maciej Zieliński, President of Siemens Polska. 

The competition is aimed at research teams from all over Poland with people of different experience – students, PhD students, scientists. The composition is arbitrary, but diversity will be rewarded. Projects can be submitted by team members, academics, as well as discipline councils, faculty councils and scientific councils of universities and research institutes.
