Silesian University of Technology joins the group of laureates of the second European University competition

The Silesian University of Technology was among the winners of the second European University competition. The European Commission appreciated the conclusion “The European University Alliance on Responsible Consumption and Production EURECA-PRO”.

Silesian University of Technology and partner universities: University of Leoben (Austria, project leader); Technical University Freiberg (Germany); University of Petrosani (Romania); University of Leon (Spain); Technical University of Crete (Greece) and Mittweida University of Applied Sciences (Germany) dedicated the application to the “Sustainable consumption and production” goal adopted by the United Nations in 2015.

European Universities is a kind of transnational alliance of higher education institutions from European Union. They create a basic university network enabling students to obtain titles by combining studies in several EU countries and contributing to the development of international competitiveness of European universities.
