Silesian University of Technology launched a charity support program

Rector of the Silesian University of Technology, Prof. Arkadiusz Mężyk signed an ordinance on the creation of the “University of Technology helps” program. Its purpose is to support charity work at the University.

The “University helps” program will support charity activities, including volunteering activities organized at the Silesian University of Technology, such as helping victims of the war in Ukraine. The program is supported by voluntary contributions from natural and legal persons as well as organizational units without legal personality. Payments, with the specification of the specific purpose of the support, can be made to the bank account.

At the first meeting of the Commission for the implementation of the “University helps” program, the specific goal of the program was: “Support for aid activities for refugees from Ukraine”, abbreviated as “Help Ukraine”.
