Cybersecurity of industrial systems is a new postgraduate study at the Faculty of Mining, Safety Engineering and Industrial Automation of the Silesian University of Technology. Jastrzębska Spółka Węglowa SA and Instytut Techniki Górniczej KOMAG will cooperate with the university.
Launching and conducting studies is one of the elements of the signed agreement between universities and partners. Its goals include the desire to promote and develop cooperation in the field of cybersecurity between science and business, cooperation in the implementation of innovative projects and research programs, as well as the dissemination of their results.
The signatories of the agreement also intend to cooperate in the preparation of guidelines for the assessment and testing of cybersecurity of products and services. The cooperation is to result in the development of recommendations for the configuration of devices, software and services, as well as active training in cybersecurity.
