The National Synchrotron Radiation Center SOLARIS in Krakow begins cooperation with the Lesser Poland Cogiteon Science Center to introduce the fascinating world of science to the young and the elderly.
The first joint activities will be available during this year’s Małopolska Scientists’ Night, which will take place in September. The long-term cooperation also includes consultations between the Particle Laboratory and the Innovation Laboratory.
The Malopolska Science Center Cogiteon is an innovative educational institution that is being built in Krakow. The facility, which will be opened next year, has planned, inter alia, a permanent exhibition about a man with over a hundred interactive exhibits, 6 laboratories (for conducting chemical, physical, biological and technical experiments), a greenhouse supporting the activities of the laboratory, research laboratories and a children’s academy. All those activities are devoted to present knowledge in an original and attractive way.
