The State Academy of Applied Sciences in Nysa will collaborate with the Universidade Federal do Triângulo Mineiro (UFTM) in Brazil. The signed agreement provides for the development of academic and scientific cooperation in the fields of higher education, research, and development.
The strategic objectives of the signed agreement will be realised through, among other things: student exchange programmes, double degrees, faculty exchanges, joint research projects, conferences, seminars, etc., while promoting the academic, research and cultural development of the partner institutions.
In the first instance, the cooperation will concern medical and health sciences faculties. An international event ‘Tropical Diseases, Metabolic Diseases, Technology, Innovation and Career Development Workshop’ aimed at the entire academic community (both faculty and students) is planned for 14 and 15 October.
