The State Higher Vocational School (PWSZ) in Nowy Sącz has received the new building of the Economic Institute of the State University of Applied Sciences from the contractor – Ersbet company. The investment cost about PLN 20 million.

The building with a development area of 941 square meters is 18 meters high and 4.5 thousand sq m of total area. On the ground floor there are: a lecture hall (which can be divided into 2 smaller ones), cloakrooms and a shop; the first floor includes a lecture hall, consultation rooms and administration rooms. The second and third floors were arranged in a similar way. In the basement there are garages and warehouse.

The new building is a response to the considerable interest in the didactic offer of the Institute of Economics. The studies offered by the higher school in Nowy Sącz include e – administration, economics, management, as well as economics and organization of enterprises.

The new seat of the Institute of Economics will be able to accommodate approximately 1,000 students.
