Jolanta Borek, a student from the Faculty of Mechatronics and Mechanical Engineering of the Kielce University of Technology won the national 3D modeling competition Fast & Studious. Her faculty colleague Oskar Ględa took second place.  

Four more students from the Kielce University of Science and Technology entered the top ten of the competition.

-I am very happy with the individual successes. At the same time, I would like to point out that thanks to the excellent results of the other members of our team, the Kielce University of Technology took first place in the general classification, leaving other universities and schools far behind – said Prof. Ihor Rokach, who prepared young people for the competition.

The competition was modeled on the global edition of the Model Mania competition. It is based on recreating a 3D model from flat documentation into SOLIDWORKS program as soon as possible. The speed and accuracy of recreating the designed part matter most.

This year, the organizers proposed a new formula for the Fast & Studious competition. Participants competed remotely for seven months. The number of points accumulated during individual starts was decisive for the victory.
