Students of Poznań University of Economics win the Verba Veritatis competition

Sylwia Wierzejska, a student of finance, audit, investment at the Poznań University of Economics, won second place in the 17th  Verba Veritatis competition for the best work on business ethics in the bachelor thesis category, in which two equivalent second places were awarded. The jury awarded her thesis ‘Quality of CSR information reporting in the banking sector in Poland and Germany. A case study’.

One of the two Diversity Prizes awarded in the competition was won by Sylwia Pajor, author of the Bachelor’s thesis “Employee wage settlements vs. the wage gap”.

The aim of the Verba Veritatis competition is to raise the level of knowledge of business ethics, its social responsibility (CSR) and corporate governance among young people just entering the labour market, which may constitute their contribution to building social capital. The announcement of the results took place in Warsaw during the Financial Institutions Congress.
