A garden for patients will be created at the Psychiatric Hospital in Choroszcz by students of landscape architecture faculty of the Białystok University of Technology. The facility and the university signed an agreement on the arrangement of the garden.

Concepts are prepared by five teams of students of the 1st year of MA studies. The best idea will be selected by the hospital management for implementation.

The University’s task is not only to give its graduates academic knowledge but also to put this knowledge into practice, – says Dr Eng. Mirosław Świercz, Vice-Rector for Development of the Białystok University of Technology. We are very willing to cooperate in order to help our students verify their knowledge in a practical way.

The garden will be built at the turn of summer and autumn this year.
