Students of the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdańsk took second place in the international Showcase Competition, organized as part of the AIS 2021 Student Chapter Leadership Conference. They created an application aimed at people with problems in making contacts, extremely shy, with social phobia.

AIS – Association for Information Systems – is one of the largest communities in the world associated with the subject of information systems. The event was attended by 267 participants from 47 universities and 4 countries. The meeting was an opportunity to present competition works and reward the achievements of research clubs associated with AIS.

In their project, students from Gdańsk took up the problem of social withdrawal and found a way to reduce it. For this purpose, they created the Talk-to application, which meets the needs of people who want to actively participate in social life, and for some reasons, they do not have such an opportunity.
