The application “Płockostan” of students of the Warsaw University of Technology is used to monitor the state of air pollution. It won the first place in this year’s City Coders Hackathon Płock.

Team of the three students Łukasz Skarżyński, Bartosz Barwikowski and Konrad Daroch created an application that is to support the city’s residents in quickly obtaining information on the current state of air pollution. In addition, it monitors and warns about failures and accidents causing unforeseen traffic jams in the city.

The theme of this year’s edition of City Coders Hackathon Płock were mobility, security and entrepreneurship. In July 2018, after the meeting with the authors of the project, the organizers plan to start implementing the application.
