The University of Adam Mickiewicz in Poznań will help the Kalisz-Ostrow Agglomeration to create a development strategy until 2030. Scientific research and works aimed at developing a comprehensive, synthetic and strategic territorial diagnosis of the Agglomeration will be performed by scientists from the faculty of socio-economic geography and spatial management.
Work on the document is divided into two stages. First part includes performing research, expert opinions, diagnoses and analyzes for the agglomeration area, then the preferred directions of development will be identified and an action plan and the method of its implementation will be presented.
– I sincerely hope that the support of our University will contribute to the optimization of planning processes throughout the Wielkopolska region, which will translate into sustainable and effective growth and socio-economic development – says the Rector of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska.
