The 3rd Congress of the 108 Blessed Martyrs of the Second World War will take place in Krotoszyn and Kalisz on 27 and 28 April. The event will inaugurate this year’s nationwide celebration of the Days of Martyrdom of the Polish Clergy. Strategic partners of the Congress are the Kalisz Academy and the Krotoszyn City Hall.

During the two days of the Congress, there will be 2 main debates and 12 thematic panels whose titles are the thoughts of the Blessed Martyrs. They will be attended by 70 speakers and moderators representing various backgrounds and points of view. The organisers, the Pomeranian Association Common Europe from Gdansk, anticipate that around 400 people from all corners of Poland will attend the Congress.

At the end, in the National Sanctuary of St Joseph in Kalisz, a Way of the Cross service is planned, which was prepared on 14 February 1945 by the Priest-Inmates of the German concentration camp in KL Gusen.
