Laureates of the Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński Primate of the Millennium Award

The Association of Graduates and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin (KUL) has awarded the Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński Primate of the Millennium Awards for the year 2022. 

The laureates were Auxiliary Bishop of the Diocese of Kharkiv-Zaporizhzhya Jan Sobiło. who has been working for Catholics in the East for many years, and Deputy Marshall of the Lublin Voivodeship Zbigniew Wojciechowski, who is involved in the process of Polish-Ukrainian reconciliation.

The Stefan Cardinal Wyszyński Primate of the Millennium Award has been granted by the Association of Graduates and Friends of the Faculty of Law of the Catholic University of Lublin since 2017 for outstanding scientific, teaching, professional or organisational achievements aimed at spreading Catholic principles in accordance with the motto Deo et Patriae. Among its previous laureates are Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller, Archbishop Marek Jędraszewski, Archbishop Andrzej Dzięga, Archbishop Jan Romeo Pawłowski, Marshall Marek Jurek, Prof. Przemysław Czarnek or Prof. Peter Raina.
