Three researchers of the University of Life Sciences in Wrocław receive Miniatura grants

Three scientists of the Wrocław University of Environmental and Life Sciences won grants under the Miniatura 4 competition organized by the National Science Center. In total, they will receive over PLN 145,000 for their research.

Dr Marta Henklewska will receive almost 50,000. PLN and will implement the project “Potentialization of the effectiveness of anti-cancer therapy in dogs by inhibiting the cell’s response to replication stress”, and Dr Bartosz Kozak almost 50 thousand PLN for “Genotyping of the ExL mapping population of narrow-leaved lupine using SNP markers”.

The third laureate – Dr Ewa Raczkowska will receive over 45 thousand PLN for the research project “Assessment of antioxidant and antidiabetic properties as well as nutritional value of health-promoting shortbread cookies made on the basis of fruit pomace and erythritol”.

The Miniatura program finances individual scientific activities in one of the following forms: preliminary / pilot research, query, research internship, research trip or consultation trip.
