The effect of the efforts of the Council for Innovation activities are: the Constitution for Science, opening universities and research units for the needs of society and economy, a program of implementing PhD theses and a tax system friendly for innovators – said Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Science and Higher Education Jarosław Gowin during a press conference opening the Council meeting Innovation.

The Ministry of Enterprise and Technology has summarized three years of government activity in the field of innovation. Deputy Prime Minister Gowin mentioned the Constitution for Science, the program of implementation PhD theses and the Łukasiewicz Research Network as the successes of the Council. He pointed out that this new solutions will strengthen the international position of applied research and development works of Polish institutes.

The Innovation Council is the most important inter-ministerial coordinator of the innovation policy implemented by the government, included in the public administration system.
