Torus Science Park in Ciechanów celebrates its first year of operation

Over 16,000 of visitors visited the Torus Science Park in Ciechanów in the first year of its operation. Learning through play thanks to interactive exhibits, workshops, scientific demonstrations and meetings became the main elements of the program offer.

On Sunday, August 30, on the occasion of its first birthday, the Torus Science Park is taking visitors on an extraordinary space journey.

From 10.00 am there will be shows in the mobile planetarium. The youngest children (from 4 years old) and their caregivers will be able to travel into space with James – a penguin from the South Pole and Vladimir – a funny bear from the North Pole, and learn why the polar night is so long. The youngest kids will also get to know about Solar system.

Older children (from 9 years old) and adults will be able to travel to the moon and find out what is seen in the night sky during each season. The shows will last approx. 45 minutes.
