Two Polish universities received the Ashoka Foundation – Journey to Changemakers’ Certificate

So far, two Polish universities boasted such a certificate: the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (SWPS major) and Collegium Civitas in Warsaw (Management). Two more have just received this certificate: the University of Gdańsk (Innovative Didactics with Montessori pedagogy) and the Maria Grzegorzewska Academy of Special Education. in Warsaw (Preschool and Early school education).

The Ashoka Foundation (International NGO of Social Innovators) was founded in 1980 by Bill Drayton. Today, Ashoka operates in over 70 countries and annually selects over 100 people from all over the world, distinguished by particular entrepreneurship, whom it calls “innovators for the good of all”.

Especially for universities, the foundation has created the Journey to Changemakers’ Certificate (J2CC) program, which is partnered by the University of Northampton obtaining the Changemaker Campus status.
