University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk to house a Paediatric Medicine Centre

The complex of the University Clinical Centre in Gdańsk (UCK) will expand with a new building. The Centre for Invasive Medicine and the Centre for Non-Invasive Medicine will be joined by the Centre for Paediatric Medicine. The new building will consist of six storeys. It will be built on the site of the old buildings that are part of the main UCK complex and will be connected to the rest of the hospital infrastructure through connectors.

The state-of-the-art space will integrate the previously dispersed clinical base and allow for the expansion of paediatric medicine capabilities. This includes a wide range of surgical activities, the treatment of multiple organ defects or the care of the youngest patients with chronic diseases. The centre will be equipped with cutting-edge equipment.

The building will be equipped with high-tech teletechnical solutions facilitating patient care and guaranteeing the full safety of people in it.
