University of Economics in Krakow established Erasmus + InnHUB

The National Agency of the Erasmus + Program and the European Solidarity Corps has signed a cooperation agreement with the University of Economics in Krakow (UEK), with the aim to create a cross-sectoral center of innovation and competence integrating the potential of Krakow universities, schools, vocational training centers, entrepreneurs, social organizations as well as municipal and regional authorities for building a modern education system and shaping unique professional competences.

Erasmus + InnHUB is a project initiated under the Erasmus + Program, with the budget of over EUR 28 billion in the years 2021-2027. “It is an important initiative for Kraków and Małopolska”, said Prof. Stanisław Mazur, rector of UEK.

“It will allow to offer European funds for greater international mobility of employees and students of Krakow universities, build professional competences of Krakow university graduates and undertake joint projects of companies with universities to those who really need them. It is an opportunity for education at the highest level and building a modern economy offering high-quality jobs”, added the rector.
