The University of Gdańsk has become one of the scientific partners in the European Network for Skin Engineering and Modeling (NETSKINMODELS), a newly-funded COST (European Cooperation in Science and Technology) campaign. Each COST action is an extremely prestigious international project – the current one is attended by 101 participants from 29 countries.
The aim of the action is to build a network of scientists and clinicians interested in creating and working with advanced skin models. The project enables the organization of meetings, thematic conferences and trainings, as well as short-term scientific missions (STSM). The project received a very high rating and was placed in the top 10th ranking
The Medical University of Gdańsk also participates in the network – which will strengthen cooperation within the Fahrenheit University Association – and the Medical University in Łódź. The partners have four years to build the network.
