University of Life Sciences in Lublin and an Italian research institute sign agreement on cooperation

The University of Life Sciences in Lublin has concluded a cooperation agreement with the Italian Istituto di Biologia e Biotechnologia Agraria (IBBA), CNR in Pisa. The agreement was signed by Dr Bartosz Sołowiej, Professor of UP – Vice-Chancellor for Science and International Cooperation, and Professor Vincenzo Longo, representing the Institute of Agricultural Biology and Biotechnology from the Department of Agricultural Biology and Food Science, CNR in Pisa.

The agreement concerns both scientific and teaching cooperation between the two universities. It provides for joint research, the writing of joint scientific publications and the organisation of scientific conferences.

The CNR is a public research institution with multidisciplinary competences, founded in Italy in 1923. Its task is to carry out scientific research projects in the main sectors of knowledge and to use the results for national development, promoting innovation and internationalising the ‘research system’.
