The Senate of the University of Lodz (UŁ) adopted the University’s strategy for the years 2021-2030. Representatives of the University of Lodz authorities, academic and administrative staff, as well as students from various faculties, have been working on the document in recent months. The University of Lodz, in accordance with the assumptions of the Strategy, will focus on knowledge and courageously deal with difficult, but important research topics. 

The strategy is a kind of signpost to show where the University will be heading in the coming years, how it wants to develop and use its potential. It is also an answer to what and how can be done better. This is a vision of the future, supported by a thorough analysis of the current situation and using the experience of the past – said the Vice-Rector of the University of Lodz for cooperation with the environment, Dr Agnieszka Kurczewska.

The basic values ​​of the University of Lodz, listed in the Strategy include: truth, freedom, courage, commitment, curiosity, cooperation and respect.

In creating the mission and vision of the University of Lodz, we are referring to the concept of knowledge. Science is a continuous development of knowledge, education is its systematics and dissemination, cooperation with the environment and efficient implementation of formulated conclusions – added the Vice-Rector of the University of Lodz.
