On February 26, 2021, the Department of Russian Studies of the University of Rzeszów, under the patronage of the Mayor of Rzeszów and the Podkarpackie Education Superintendent’s office, are organizing the 5th Festival of the Russian Language.

The organizers are planning competitions for pupils and students of the Podkarpackie Province including: language competition for pupils and students, knowledge competition “200th anniversary of Fyodor Dostoyevsky’s birth – writer’s life and work” for secondary school students (in Polish) via the MS Teams platform.

Students who would like to participate in the Russian song competition are expected to record their performance and send to the Festival’s e-mail address: festivalrosyjski@gmail.com.

There will also be a film competition for foreign students (native speakers of Russian) of primary and secondary schools. The video (up to 7 minutes) about: Давайте беречь нашу планету should also be sent to the Festival’s e-mail address.
