The University of Silesia in Katowice will cooperate with the Polish Pellet Council. The agreement provides for the implementation of joint projects, organization and promotion of events directed to the academic community, as well as promoting entrepreneurship and supporting student projects.

As part of the agreement, the organization of apprenticeships and internships for students and graduates is foreseen, the association will also support consulting training programs and subjects of diploma theses arising at the university. The cooperation will also enable the involvement of qualified association staff in conducting classes with students.

The Polish Pellet Council is an association of companies dealing in the production, trade and distribution of wood pellets, manufacturers of heating equipment and fireplace stoves, producers of pelletizing technology and other business entities, institutions and organizations actively operating in this industry and engaged in its development.
