University of Szczecin as close as possible to accessibility

The Faculty of Law and Administration of the University of Szczecin has opened a virtual reality simulation room, equipped with simulators of the limitations of people with special needs and a virtual crime scene. Investment it cost near million PLN.

The VR simulation room includes a visual impairment simulator, a wheelchair simulator, a simulator of barriers hindering the activity of deaf people, a simulator of geriatric restrictions and a crime scene simulator. This is the next step in the implementation of the accessibility strategy at the Faculty of Law and Administration. Earlier, the infrastructure of the building was adapted for the disabled.

The multimedia vision of objects, spaces and events created in the room will allow students to pass knowledge and skills in the field of forensics in a completely innovative way. The technology will be available to institutions from the socio-economic environment of universities: associations, foundations, offices, courts and enterprises.
