Representatives of the University of Warsaw (UW) and IDEAS NCBR have signed a letter of intent for cooperation aimed at increasing interdisciplinary research in artificial intelligence. The agreement envisages cooperation between the two entities in terms of training doctoral students at UW’s doctoral schools.

According to the UW, the cooperation will begin at the stage of recruiting candidates for doctoral schools, and once admitted to a UW doctoral school, its participants will be able to conduct research at IDEAS NCBR. 

The joint activities are expected to contribute to a better integration of scientific communities focused on the development of artificial intelligence in Poland. This will help increase the amount of research that will be used in practice, such as in administration, medicine or environmental protection.

IDEAS NCBR Sp. z o.o. is a research and development centre whose task is to support the development of artificial intelligence in Poland. It conducts educational activities, supports cooperation between scientists and business and commercialisation of research results.
