University of Warsaw and Kielce University of Technology to launch “Grant Competition”

The consortium of the University Center for Technology Transfer of the University of Warsaw (UW), UWRC (special purpose vehicle of the University of Warsaw) and the Center for Technology Transfer of the Kielce University of Technology (PŚ) in Kielce are organizing “Grant Competition”, in which scientists and doctoral students of both universities can apply for co-financing of their pre-implementation works. The project is carried out under the “Innovation Incubator 4.0” program of the Ministry of Education and Science.

Projects submitted to the “Grant Competition” should include pre-implementation works, additional laboratory tests or the costs of adapting the invention with high commercialization potential to the needs of the interested buyer. The scientists and doctoral students winning the competition may receive funding of up to PLN 40,000.

The applications should particularly take into account inventions or research topics with potential for commercialization. Competition applications may be submitted by research workers of the University of Warsaw and the Kielce University of Technology employed on the basis of contract, participants of doctoral studies, as well as research and development teams led by a researcher or doctoral student at the Universities of Warsaw or Kielce.
